Cotton textile cluster Poly Tex Syrdarya hosted the first cotton caravan
The "Harvest Caravan" event was held in Saykhunabad region, which is a symbolic beginning of the harvest season, the collection of grown raw cotton for the 2021 harvest.
The event was attended by the khokim of the Syrdarya region Gafurjon Mirzaev, heads of district sectors, chairmen of the IMS, farmers and heads of specialized organizations.
Before accepting the cotton caravan, the Koran was recited and prayers were offered to all the farmers who contribute to the cotton harvest for strength and bountiful harvests.
