Uzbekistan is registering its population for the first time

Only those who rely on conjecture will lose. Risk and foresight are needed only in certain areas. Accurate statistics are needed in every field. It is inappropriate to talk about development without it. Especially in today's fast-paced world!
The topic we are talking about today is directly related to statistics. That is, about the census.
So why this practice? Why is there so much talk about it in the next year? Why haven't we had a population census yet?

Imagine 10 people living in your apartment. This means that you take their number into account when shopping. So many kilos of meat, so many liters of oil, so many kilos of flour, so much rice, etc ... Depending on the age, preferences, and tastes of the household members, the food is filtered into a larger bowl for some, a smaller bowl for others, a lower fat for others, and a thicker bowl for others. You do the same when shopping for clothes for your family. Do you want to give your son or daughter to a club? Here you take into account his interests, abilities, potential, opportunities!

Now the question is: how do you make the right and wise decision in this regard? The answer is obvious: because you have an accurate and complete database of each member of your family!
The need for census measures can be compared to this. For example, in Karakalpakstan, how many thousand tons of coal, how many saxophones, how many thousand cubic meters of gas are needed to keep homes warm and people boil black pots in winter and summer? What about Bukhara? How many people are unemployed in Khorezm? How many more educational institutions need to be built in Surkhandarya? How many families need housing in Fergana? How many women of childbearing age are there in Samarkand and is the number of beds in existing maternity hospitals proportional to this figure? In what years were the houses in Syrdarya mainly built? How much electricity does Surkhandarya need to generate per month to keep the lights on? How many families live in one house in Andijan? How many people actually live in Tashkent? ...

You see, the census, that is, this practice alone can answer many questions and solve many problems!
However, superficial and approximate figures do not go far. The targeting of plans and programs, the effectiveness of reforms depends on the accuracy and reliability of information in this area. That is why our sages have always advised to cut one of the seven scales. And the proverb is even wiser: do not count, do not say eight!
